Delicious, healthy and so easy to make! Turmeric has been used for centuries in curing common ailments, but also has been found to contain miracle healing properties. Turmeric contains curcumin, a substance with powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

The Benefits of Turmeric
-Turmeric can prevent and treat cancer, curcumin can help inhibit the duplication of cancer cells and prevent the growth of tumor cells

Turmeric Ricefullsizerender
Ingredients:
-1 white onion diced
-1-2 medium carrot peeled and chopped
-1 tablespoon fresh chopped ginger (or ginger powder)
-2 tablespoons of coconut oil (or evoo)
-2-3 chopped garlic cloves
-2 tablespoons turmeric powder
-2 cups organic brown rice
-pink salt + fresh ground pepper

Directions:
1. Boil rice for 40-50 minutes with salt, stirring often
2. In coconut oil, cook onions and carrots until translucent and soft
3. Add garlic, ginger and turmeric stirring constantly
4. Once rice is cooked, strain and add in to onions, and carrots mixture
5. Fry for 1 minute, stir and serve!
